but each puppy is a result of careful breeding for optimal results in

Our Love for Bulldogs
We were formerly known as Duncan
Bulldogs. We were unable to secure the name "Duncan Bulldogs" with the AKC
as an exclusive name to be used for our dogs only. This was due to the large
amount of dogs who had already been named "Duncan," probably after their
owner's last name as it was in our case. So in 2005 we changed our name to
Abounding Bulldogs.
Our bulldogs "Abound" with life,
affection, beauty, and health. We aim to "Abound" in high quality dogs.
We first fell in love with the
breed as a result of having Jehoshaphat - the red male pictured at the top
of this page. If there is a word to describe this breed is...
hilarious! They are smart, funny, mellow, gentle, and affectionate.
Their desire is always to please. There is never a day when they wake up in
a bad mood - they are always happy, wagging their tails and so eager to
please.
Our Goal in
Breeding Bulldogs
We breed for quality, health, and
a sweet disposition. We believe that if you want to get a bulldog, it ought
to be a BULLDOG -- one that fits the standard of the breed in good
disposition, cuteness, health, and sweetness. I would not sell a dog to you
if I was not confident that these dogs did not have the health or
temperament they need to have to be a long-lasting companion. Please read

Breeding.
Puppy
Availability
We do not usually sell our show quality dogs because we keep the show
quality puppies for exhibition. These are sold as pets, with a contract /
agreement that the new owner will spay or neuter the dog once it is old
enough. The AKC registration is limited, meaning that even though the dog
is registered, its puppies will not be registerable. We must do this to
protect our dogs from puppy mills, who would take advantage of our dogs'
excellent pedigrees to breed them for money (not quality) at the expense of
the dog. Such is the case with many breeders we see in local papers.
We work very hard at improving the quality of our dogs and do not want
to see the fruit of our labor spoiled by a careless breeder.
Exceptions to this rule may be made on an individual basis. Please
read our article on Show Quality vs. Pet Quality.
We have a waiting list that receives e-mails from us updating them of what
we have available, upcoming litters, videos, pictures, etc. I send pictures once
they are born so you can follow the progress of the puppies and to help you
on your decision. To be placed in this waiting list, please fill out
the
Bulldog Placement / Home Evaluation Questionnaire. Puppies are
ready to leave our home once they are 8 weeks old. That way they are
strong, weaned, and have received all vaccinations. Please read the
procedures in order to purchase a puppy.
Health
Guarantee
We give a 48 hr. Health Guarantee
with each puppy. Once you take the puppy home,
please take him / her to the vet within 48 working hrs. If the puppy has any health
problems, we will give your money back once the puppy is returned.
This Guarantee is to ease your mind and assure you that the dog is free from
communicable diseases at the time of delivery.
An additional 60 day Health
Insurance is also available with each puppy when the new owner registers the
animal with the AKC.
A one-year
Health Guarantee is also available against
life-threatening congenital diseases. Please read our
